This system features the powerful 2.65L R2650 TVS Supercharger, which has been engineered to add an impressive 305 HP over the base model, elevating the total power output to an astonishing 705 horsepower and 635 lb-ft of torque. Reliability is a hallmark of Roush, and this supercharger system is no exception. Roush engineers have meticulously developed an optimized billet aluminum viscous crankshaft damper, enhancing the durability and lifespan of the supercharged 5.0L V8 engine. A unique Roush damper was incorporated into the kit to effectively manage the increased torsional demands brought on by the higher power levels.

Also included in the 2021-2023 F-150 Roush Supercharger Kit is a set of specially designed spark plugs, created exclusively for supercharger applications. These spark plugs are tailored to optimize the forced induction combustion process, significantly reducing the risks of pre-ignition and detonation from the augmented power of the supercharger.

The Roush supercharger kit has undergone extensive testing, including hot development trips to assess cooling efficiency, AC performance, and towing capability. The development team even tested the system in extreme conditions, using a cold chamber at -20° F for cold start assessments, ensuring reliable performance. Over 900 hours of engine durability and dyno testing were completed to validate the supercharger, adhering to the stringent engine durability requirements of Roush Performance.

The Roush R2650 TVS supercharger is a cutting-edge roots-type positive displacement supercharger. It features twin four-lobe rotors with a 170-degree twist, a significant advancement over the traditional three-lobed, 60-degree twist rotors of the original Eaton supercharger. This innovative design offers numerous benefits, including greatly improved thermal efficiency, higher volumetric capacity, increased operating speeds, smoother and more efficient airflow into the engine, along with enhanced noise and vibration characteristics. Unlike turbochargers, the Roush R2650 TVS supercharger delivers instantaneous throttle response, providing increased power across the entire powerband of the engine.
